Resurfacing Craig Henry Drive

The resurfacing work along Craig Henry is part of the City’s additional $3.0M investment in Road Resurfacing projects.  This additional investment targets specific areas of great need and not full road resurfacing.  This is in response to the Motion carried by Council on May 24, 2017.

The specifics about the resurfacing work along Craig Henry are:

Limits: From Greenbank Road to Aldridge Way

Scope: Full resurfacing of the paved surfaces within those limits, with the exception of the paved median areas at intersections, and no work within the Greenbank intersection.

At the moment, pavement grinding is underway.  This will be followed by ironwork adjustments (currently scheduled for Friday Oct. 20), paving operations, and line painting.

The work is expected to be completed next week, subject to weather conditions.

The City’s Election-Related Resources Policy (ERRP) prohibits Members of Council who are seeking re-election in a municipal election from using their office budgets and staff for newsletters and general communications from August 23, 2018 up to and including October 22, 2018 (known as the ‘blackout period’). As a sitting Member of Council, I must adhere to the City’s ERRP, meaning that this website will not be updated during the blackout period. My office remains open to deal with day-to-day constituency matters.
