Ward 9 Update
Today’s planned water shut off in the Craig Henry area has been cancelled. Watermain work has been postponed until late October.
Any storm related questions you have for City agencies can be answered by staff at the Sportsplex , Hall F again today. A number of different agency representatives will be able to answer your questions and help with any issues.
A food waste bin is available at Basin Court to drop off any food waste.
The City of Ottawa will host information sessions for residents affected by Friday’s tornado and windstorm.
In attendance will be representatives from the following services:

- Waste Management
- Revenue Services
- Building Code Services
- Ottawa Public Health
- Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing
- Emergency Medical Assistance Team
- Red Cross
- Insurance Bureau of Canada
- Electrical Safety Authority
- Service Canada
The Information Session in Ward 9 will be held on Saturday, September 29th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Woodvale Pentecostal Church, Main Auditorium, Entrance 1, 205 Greenbank Road. Lunch will be provided.

City Council approved relief to residents rebuilding after the recent tornado. Financial relief from fees, including demolition and building permits, is available for applications submitted due to storm damage. This relief is in addition to the property tax cancellation, reduction or refunds for which residents may be eligible.
